Great day! Winds were very light and temps were cool. Day started out completely clear but clouded up quickly. George was in the clear when I arrived at the summit at 10:30 but by the time I got to the Boot Spur junction it was completely in the clouds. Lots and lots of people on the summit for the road race. The line for picture at the summit sign was about 100 ft long. Lots of people on the trails today.
Met a group on Isolation who had come in Rocky Branch from Jericho Road and camped. They said the trail was completely washed out but they saw no sign about the closure. |
