Comments
Comments: I used snowshoes the entire trip. Light traction would have worked up to the ascent to Hancock on the Loop Tr. From here to Hancock the new snow amounts varied from nothing to as much as foot in drifts. The Loop Tr. from Hancock to S. Hancock was an average of 6" of new snow with a lot of drifting. Drifts were as high 18-30" in some spots. All of this was unbroken. The Loop Tr. off S. Hancock was broken by a couple doing the counter clockwise route.
