Perfect day for a hike. I did the loop counter-clockwise. Judging by the people I passed, most do it clockwise. I'm not sure there is an advantage one way or another; both the up and down is steep for 1000'. The upper part of the trail coming down from the North peak had lots of loose rock. The muddiest parts of the trail were along parts of the ridge, but nothing that can't be avoided. |
