Beautifully maintained. The new (rerouted) section was a pleasant surprise to us (had not read about it). There are some new signs as well. |

Saw a few. They seemed to be enjoying the beautiful day. |

This was such a perfect day you know there had to be one thing wrong! Hardly any in the woods, but they (black flies) were all on the summits! No mosquitoes, however. |

This is my first post, hope it's o.k. I hesitated to even check off water on the trails, it was so minor (but do be careful of the few slippery rocks). I don't think any one could have asked for a better day than this! Beautiful clear blue skies; the views from Galehead porch and the two summits were excellent (other than the blackflies)!
These were #27 and #28 for my daughter and me, not enough time for #29 (would have been North Twin). Many happy people out enjoying the day! |
