Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All easily crossed, no issues. Trekking poles help.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple of blowdowns easily avoided. Stony Brook is easily followed but growth creeping in in places
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Plenty of water till above the bog at the Stony Brook/Carter-Moriah link up, then scarce
Bugs
Bugs: The last 2 miles on the way down were active with black flies, but since it's fairly level one can move right along. I thought I might pick up a few ticks due to creeping vegetation, but found none

Comments
Comments: 1 mile in at the brook crossing I missed the somewhat obvious crossing and followed a more obvious herd path...when that petered out I crossed and bushwhacked to the trail. Other than that trail is easy to follow. Saw NO ONE till near the summit. I could not believe how quiet it was on such a beautiful day!
