||crossing of the little river was fine on rocks near the downed tree. used the herd path around the other two. |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||removed a couple of blowdowns on the north twin spur that were forcing people off the trail. |
||bugs got to us on east garfield, but otherwise weren't really an issue.
|Lost and Found:
||all trails in decent shape. mostly dry with minor wet spots and small patches of mud. off trail jaunt to east garfield was thick, but short. |
beautiful day for these peaks. great views, with a nice cool breeze up high in the open. east garfield probably has my favorite view along the ridge and is well worth the short bushwack. thanks to cynthia for a nice day.
