Comments
Comments: Decided to get a little wet and hope for clearing on Friday and save Presi hikes for the weekend when views would be better. Rain stopped for the first half hour of the hike then continued on and off for the rest of the day, resulting in one sopping wet hiker.

Herd path is found as described in a previous post, at the last switchback before the top of Mt. Osceola. The altitude was about 4150' on my altimeter, beware of an earlier trail at about 4000' that is blocked by a couple of small logs. Herd path hits blowdowns in about 0.1 mile, look to the right for the path. I was on and off the herd path most of the way but always found it again by heading for the top of the (obvious) ridge when in doubt.
