Pine Link Trail was nice. I had never hiked it before and thought the holiday weekend would be a good chance to use the trail less traveled. There was some running water one the trail right before the junction with Howker Ridge. Also a few muddy spots but rocks make it avoidable. Overall the trail is in excellent shape. I started at 600am and had the summit of Adams to myself. Not too bad for a beautiful holiday weekend. Madison Hut Crew was there prepping things for next weekend. Shared Madison with three people.
After completing that lollipop I decided to redline some more and hiked up Town Line Brook Trail. The falls were barely flowing. I will have to go back after some rain. |
