No problems! Waded across one on Franconia Brook trail at site of old railroad bridge. Cold water felt good on tired feet! |

Twin Brook trail & Franconia Brook trail had some blowdowns but nothing that was too difficult to get around. |

Black flies were biting on the summits! In the heat of the day they can be relentless. We encountered mosquitoes on the Franconia Brook and Lincoln Woods trails but the weren't terrible. |

Most spectacular hike! Guyot tentsites were full so we ended up sleeping under the stars on W Bond. Watched a glorious sunset and sunrise from 4540 feet!! No moon meant incredible stars overhead. Life is good. |
