Comments
Comments: Party of five. Up North Slide, down South Slide. North Slide Avy hazard judged low. Deep powder on lower third of North Slide, changing to packed powder/frozen granular locked up to base, and then windswept to base with some ice and avoidable powder pockets up high. South slide was in sun all day, sticky and reasonable firm. We used snowshoes and poles all the way. Some might be more comfortable with crampons on upper half of North Slide. A great route!
