|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
A great trail for the canines other than one ledge on Willey Range between Field and Willey that might be a problem for some who will need some help; However, there is no water on Avalon trail above Avalon spur and on Willey Range from Field to Willey and back, and only a few seeps on Willey Range from Field to AZ Trail so bring some extra for the Canines, saw only one out today coming down Avalon but having a good time |
|
| Bugs: |
Out and buzzing around today especially at the viewpoint on Willey, a nuisance but not really biting |

| Comments: |
Another great day on the trails, lots of folks out today - saw/met many on all trails today. Avalon up to Avalon spur dry with some of the usual mud spots and water but nothing troublesome, above spur on Avalon some mud and some of the rock ledges heading up Field were wet but not really slick; Willey Range between Field and Willey nice and dry; Willey Range between Field and AZ had some mud and running water but not really any trouble. AZ trail also nice and dry down to Avalon Junction. Nice clear skies and perfect temps, views from Willey were great as always. Views from Field were not as good as I remenber during the winter when you have a lot of snow to lift you up a bit, but always a good pair of peaks to visit. |
