Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: all were hop overs and didn't run too heavy
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: several blow downs or blow downs that were cut down but left in the middle of the trail.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: saw several on the Flume trail heading up to Ethan Pond I believe. I saw none above the ladders for obvious reasons.
Bugs
Bugs: black flies just starting up and weren't bad at all. Didn't even wear spray. Oddly on the summit look out area, there were lots of house fly type bugs that were annoying and landing on us, but not biting.

Comments
Comments: Incredibly beautiful day today, some muddy sections of the trail, and the water was running just right for us to hop over but also to dip our heads in and cool off. We saw no one on the trail all day, but a few groups came up while we were eating lunch on top. Chatted a bit with a real nice couple from CT.

On the way down saw many many groups who got late starts. Most were just going up for a bit and others told me they were going to ethan pond for the night. One group of ridiculously cute young girls were traveling to the pond with their father. It was adorable.
