Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking at sabbaday falls parking area

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: Water crossing was frequent and very difficult. The last water crossing required wading through barefooted  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There were many blow-downs and a lot of damage on trail. The blow-downs were easily walked around 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: dogs would be better suited ascending Pine Bend Brook trail as the last .4 of Sabbaday Brook were extremely steep and had a lot of similarities to the Flume

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: woman hiker ditched a fleece, goretex hat, tissues, and broken trekking pole. I cleaned up what I could 
 
Comments
Comments: the water crossings were technical and took a lot more time than we were expecting.



Ascended Sabbaday, went left at ridge to Mid Tri, then went North and down Scaur Ridge to Pine Bend Brook and finished the last mile on the road. It took us 7hrs, 3:30 to the ridgeline, 25 minutes from Mid to North peak, 2 hr from North Peak to the Kanc. Hiking with a Garmin Etrex.
