Comments
Comments: There were plenty of wet sections along this hike, but in general it was easy to keep to relatively dry rock or ground for most of it. There was a significant monorail on Twinway, between the Zealand summit and Guyot, perhaps a quarter of a mile long. For that section, it wasn't realistic to avoid the snow, but it was also packed hard. I postholed a couple of times, but the monorail was mostly stable. There was a bit of patchy ice on the way up to Bond, but not bad, and no ice at all between Bond and Bondcliff. I wouldn't recommend any traction for the remaining snow, but I expect the rail on Twinway might still be there for another couple of weeks.
