Comments
Comments: This was a beautiful day, with beautiful views. The climb up the Flume Slide was very dangerous. The boulders were pretty wet and slippery. There was also some snow and ice at the top and on the way down Liberty, same thing. Spikes would have helped going down Liberty. I will say, this would have been a spectacular hike all around if the boulders on the slide weren't wet. I wouldn't recommend it right now, unfortunately. As spectacular as it was, it was flat out dangerous. We shouldn't have hiked it. Wait until all the snow melts and the boulders are try and it should be fantastic. Otherwise, go up Liberty. I thought Liberty's views were better than Flumes, or maybe our nerves were gone at that point.
