Comments
Comments: Ice & snow from a bit below Watson Path jct. Monorail begins at Upper Bruin jct., w/ more snow from the recent light storm from here up. Barebooted all the way to Madison summit, kind of sketchy in the woods on upper Valley Way- put on 'spikes going down, good thing, slipped as soon as I took them off lower down. Mix of rock & rime up in the Alpine Zone. Meant to climb Adams too, but spent quite a while looking for the moose in the Madison col / Star Lake area -no luck- and ran short on time. Temps about 30F above treeline, winds less & less through the day. Saw no one. A Perfect Presi day.
