Comments
Comments: Trails were covered in a fresh layer of snow in the AM. Sections of Gale River Trail had significant wet sections: mud, standing water and running water. Above maybe 2700' on Gale River, Garfield Ridge, and Frost Trails there were icy patches and sections of narrow, but stable monorail. Below 2500' the snow was gone on the hike out. We bare-booted to the summit, but put our microspikes on for the descent.
