It seemed strange starting off our hike in one inch of snow. But again, we were at 3000 feet. It was an incredible blue bird day and we enjoyed every second of our trek. Bare booted the entire way with good footing. Still lots of snow between the boulders. One section had 3 foot drifts! No problem climbing the caps since the rocks were bare. Stiff winds made for an exciting time. Many thanks to my son Steve & good friend Mike (the Tilton Vet) for joining me on this epic hike. |
