Comments
Comments: Cold and wind forecast changed plans for us today. Osceola trail wet a bit down below with long stretches of nice dry trail. Once to 3500 feet or so flow ice became the predominant trail surface and we put spikes on. Many slipping and sliding barebooters out today in jeans and sneakers..could have sold 25 pair of spikes on this very busy and icy trail today. Gorgeous views on a blustery and clear day. Trek over to East quite easy going with very little ice to the chimney section..a bit of hard frozen rail and ice from there. Spoke to one couple that came in from the Kanc..they were not looking forward to descent on icy surface. Thanks Ali for a fine day out
