| Comments: |
The morning was chilly for late April with the windchill. All the trails taken were sheltered in the trees which kept the warmth. Snowed in the White's the night before and that morning. Contended with half inch to 3 inches of snow on Zealand and Lend a hand. There was easily breakable ice on both trails. I post holed in a couple snow and ice hidden mud holes. Hale brook trail was bare on the lower half, little breakable ice and snow at the top. We barebooted all day but saw plenty with light traction. |
