| Comments: |
Dusting of snow started at the trailhead this morning, though the snowline was climbing by noontime. Blue and black ice on the middle and upper portions of the trail, with snow increasing to about half an inch deep. I was able to bareboot the whole hike with care. New snow melted off the ski slopes pretty quickly.
Trout lily appears to have survived so far (closed up), but the trillium that was in bloom appears to have not made it. |
