|Lost and Found:
||Narrow monorail starts from Mt. Bond and ends just beyond Zealand. Parts of it are anywhere from 1 to 2 feet in height. Light dusting of snow & sleet as we climbed Bondcliff Trail. Trip over Bondcliff required caution since the rocks were covered in black ice. Put on spikes at West Bond Spur and removed them around Z-Cliff. Cold temps kept the monorail very stable. The lower part of Lend-a Hand is underwater. |
Many thanks to Cameron and Summerset for their generous 'Trail Magic' and note they left at Hale Brook trailhead. It really made our day after the long, difficult 12-hour trek.
