Comments
Comments: I wore snowshoes until the return trip to N.Kinsman and barebooted the descent, and my friend wore microspikes the entire day. Mix of barebooters and snowshoers on the trails today. Lonesome Lake was very hard packed, but good footing. The fishin jimmy trail was less consolidated, yet still very firm enough not to posthole. A couple of slick spots on the steeps where traction was helpful, but overall the trail had very little ice so footing was very decent. Kinsman Ridge Trail over and back in good shape.
