Comments
Comments: A tough hike. Lower part of Rocky Branch until Engine Hill Bushwack was dry. Bushwack was a wet adventure. Once back on Rocky Branch Trail it was a mess. There were lots of streams running down the trail and an unstable monorail that one slip would lead to deep water/mud. Isolation Trail has major post holes and an unstable monorail. After seeing a couple near the summit who went up Glen Boulder, we decided to go out this route, which was a better choice. There were some post holes to contend with but overall, the rain held off and it was a much more pleasant hike out. Above treeline and below Glen Boulder, the trail is free from monorail. An epic adventure.
