Comments
Comments: kiddos only had a half day scheduled at the local indoctrination center, so I emailed that they would be absent today for a “family event”. Couldn’t miss the opportunity to hit these peaks for Nov grid with zero snow or ice and record high temps. Hiked most the day in a tee shirt and shorts-crazy. Only saw 14 people all day. So nice when the summit is closed to tourists! Ammo was soaked from last night’s rain, but it was no problemo. Winds were strong but it was never really cold and the sun was WARM. Washington summit was in a cloud until 11:30-we summited at 12:15 so timing was stellar. another amazing day with my two favorite little people. Tall boy got his third Washington summit today(age 5)-beats the snot out of a half day of kindergarten in my humble opinion:)
