 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We parked in the usual spot at the maintained end of King St. in Washington (the summit is in Stoddard) but high clearance vehicles could easily go 0.2 mi. farther past the cabins to where the trail leaves the road. There is room here for a few cars. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Aside from a few blazes that could be touched up, everything was in fantastic shape. Kudos to the adopter of the Barney Brook Trail section of the MSG for the exceptional maintenance! |

 | Comments: |
Stick season is in full effect along Barney Brook Trail, a segment of the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway. Leaf cover is currently hiding rocks and roots and the steep pitches are a little slippery.
Cool temps and bright sun made this a great day to visit the open, scrubby summit where there were clear views. A favorite summit along the MSG! |
