Typical shoulder season hike. Conditions were very good and not too crazy with slick fallen leaves on Zealand Trail and the AT. First time for me on Zeacliff Trail and it was a delight!! It felt par for the course for a wilderness trail and definitely was steep for the first 3/4 mile out of the notch but the view of Zealand Notch from the talus at the very beginning is unbeatable. All in all a great Halloween hike! |
