Comments
Comments: Great to be out in the mountains after 7 months away. Bottom of trail was very dry. There was easily avoidable mud after we hit the stream crossings and some quickly melting and easily avoided ice floes on the Mt. Kinsman Trail. The ridge trail had more monorail, especiially between the two peaks. I bare booted on the way up but switched to light traction on the way back. The traction made life so much easier as I expended way too much energy bush whacking around ice on the way up.
