| Comments: |
It turned out to be a really nice day, sunny, warm, light breeze. Best view from the ridge below Middle Carter. Mt. Washington in the clouds but Jefferson to Madison were clear. Carter Dome in the fog when I was there but cleared up later. Saw 4 hikers on 19 Mile Brook Trail and 2 at Zeta Pass. Snow and ice remains in the shaded sections and on the north facing section of the trails. Most of the trail was dry with some muddy patches. |
