When Gaia shows an unmaintained trail, it's still a trail, right? RIGHT!? And if the sign says no hikers on ski trails then you just shuffle on the service road. Trust me, it would totally hold up in court. AI said so.
The old Mittersill-Cannon trail is now a consistent and steep service road over Mittersill peak and up to Cannon. It makes for fast going, but it squishier now than I expected. The trip back down the Cannon service road was slick in spots due to mud and new rock work, but overall in good shape. A trail connecting the two made for a quick jog back to my car from the base lodge. |
