Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: On Manning Trail, near treeline, there is a split in the trail at a large rock scramble. Looks like the footway probably goes left but in fact, it is very difficult to see the large faded yellow arrow pointing the correct way to the right so we initially went left, ended up on reasonable ledges but couldn't find the trail so I backtracked and eventually saw the big yellow arrow. Some places like that really do need more marking.

Comments
Comments: Wanted to revisit some trails I hadn't been on in a while. Summits completely socked in. They did not clear until mid-afternoon. Top was very windy and cold - glad to have a windbreaker. Throughout this 7.8 mile loop, we only saw 10 people. Weather wasn't ideal high up but just beautiful in the valleys. WE had some limited views of valleys.
