| Comments: |
Spent the night out off Hancock Notch trail, beautiful night. Trails alternating from dry to ice/snow to dry to ice/snow out HN and CB to Hancock Loop. More snow and ice on loop trail to the split, took N branch up. Snow descending to the drainage then minor snow/ice to the north summit, lots of dry trail. Snow, ice, and monorail along the ridge alternating with nothing. Put the micros on for the walk to South. South branch of the loop is VERY icy right now. It would not be fun to climb or descend without traction, poles really helped too. |
