Comments: Lower trail sections all dry here. Tops all bare. Only slick ice was at 3000-3500 and very minimal. Only postholing was between Mizpah and Jackson and not enough snow to be a problem. I used spikes off and on to speed things up due to afternoon start. Wish I'd had the whole day; for conditions looked lovely above treeline to the north today. Well a half day out is better than none.
