 | Comments: |
Trail is dry most of the way. Last 1.3mi there are small patches of ice and snow that are easy to walk around or rock hop. The real monorail begins the last .2 to hut(2 feet in depth). Put microspikes on and took off at hut. Above treeline is completely bare. No sign of Lola, the moose, but her droppings went part way up Madison. Maybe she was attempting her first 4k? Had the entire ridge to myself - a beautiful day above treeline. |
