Comments
Comments: Trail is dry for first .5mi. After that the section until Gem Pool is extremely icy. Light traction is needed. Above Gem Pool, there are sections of boiler plate. I avoided a long section by bushwacking along the side. Put on crampons for last .5 for more security. Trail was solid. At hut and up to Monroe, trail is dry. Wore microspikes down after hut since trail had softened. Had treeline all to myself!
