 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail creep is getting very bad on the incline. The branches/logs I dragged in to block off the herd paths have been removed. Very sad to see what folks are doing to this trail, killing off trees and destroying stone drainage fixtures. |

 | Comments: |
Trail reopened a few days ago following the fire closure. Trail is mostly dry, even after the rain earlier this week.
Some evidence of the fire on the summit, but mostly via burned brush and dying leaves on saplings. Summit smells like Lafayette Place campground, but otherwise no smell of smoke.
Partly sunny afternoon with temperatures in the upper 70s and a breeze. |
