 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Forest Service hard at work today and yesterday. Someone had told me they were rerouting portions of the trail. Good signage. A few blazes above treeline are faded.
Not the trail itself, but the Jim Liberty Cabin and its accompanying new outhouse. Also, improving the cabin and putting a msp on the front door, showing the water location (not always reliable, so bring enough. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Risky to bring one on those ledges. |

A few mosquitoes in the lower section. |

 | Comments: |
This was a two day, not really necessary to put up a report for yesterday.
We hiked to the Jim Liberty Cabin, "made our beds (put thermarest and sleeping bags on bunks. Went a little further on the trail to see the sunset. Today, we were up for the sunrise and then went to the summit.
I
Very good trail, eroded in some areas. There are a few tricky ledges, just take your time. |
