Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All generally rock-hoppable. Note: Did not need to cross West Branch at closed suspension bridge.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are all in splendid shape. The Great Gulf Trail up the headwall is close to chose-your-own-adventure since you're in the Wilderness and any man-made cairns are probably obliterated each winter.

Comments
Comments: Many thanks to all those trail maintainers who have been hard at work in some of the hardest to reach trails in the White Mountains. I had a wonderful day mostly because of you. The Great Gulf headwall was a bucket list item for me and didn't disappoint. The trail though is hard to discern and most of your effort will actually be in route-finding and not ascent. But with some sense and footbed recognition you'll make it just fine :)
