The trail is in great condition. One large blowdown on the south ridge trail beside Round Pond, this can be difficult to get over or around especially in winter. This one had been across the trail for about a year. |

 | Comments: |
The trail is in good condition. There were a group of Grade School kids and their instructors at the lower bluff on Rocky Ridge doing some cliff climbing. Otherwise only saw 5 other hikers. Pretty good views from the fire tower, could see the Monadnocks, Belknaps and Agamenticus in Maine. |
