 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One birch partly in the trail just after the turn onto the secondary logging road. Another small tree is down just above the loop junction. I would have taken the liberty if I was carrying a saw today. |

 | Bugs: |
Barely any. Quite a contrast to back home in southern NH where the mosquitoes are quite plentiful. |

 | Comments: |
The absolutely redonkulous humidity called for extra shirts today. Fortunately, this hike is fairly short and I was back to the car's robust AC in good time. Can October come early this year?
Always a treat to visit this mountain with its gorgeous forests and neat geology. Views into Vermont were hazy from the muggy air. |
