 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
At 8am there was plenty of space in the lot off the newly repaved Mt Clinton Road. Still room at 2 pm. |

 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
The major crossing early in the hike was surprisingly easy to rock-hop, considering how much rain came the day and evening before. The high crossing also posed no problem. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trails were generally in good shape. There were a couple of logs at ground level, so easy to step over that they are hardly worth mentioning. As the trail got steeper part way up, the regularly wet rock slabs have led to trail creep, as people walk around the slabs for better footing. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
There were a couple that we saw, one very friendly and sociable. |
 | Bugs: |
I did not apply bug juice again, and I didn't see anything or have anything land on me until nearly done with the descent, which was a mosquito. |

Nice outing with the OTHH. Pat has just two hikes left to finish her 48/80 round. Very windy on top, although not cold; we took pics and hustled down to shelter for lunch. Up high there was a lot of water on the trail, from the rain the previous day and evening. |
