Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: It was Aussie day on the mountains today. We met one other friendly Aussie on way down; Cody had a play mate for a few minutes before moving on. Overall trails OK for pups. They are pretty muddy in spots, so plan for a stream wash towards the bottom. Water (and crossing) on the trail in multiple locations good for quenching a pups thirst, or for general cooling off.

Comments
Comments: Morning hike for Cody's 52WAV and 4K hikes. Lower trail was fairly dry with occasional soft mud/wet spots. But at higher elevations the trails were pretty wet. The potentially slippery wet rocks and some mud made for slower going. Multiple muddy stretches along the ridge. Slabs on the ridge and on Jackson were mostly dry. Views were OK today, some cloudy haze.
