There were still spaces available when I went through the East Royce parking lot. |

The lowest crossings on Royce Tr could be difficult at high water. Easy rock hops today |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Well Blazed, only one two blow downs, which could be climbed over - not difficult
The section of Royce between Laughing Lion and Royce Connector is very steep and rough. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
I would not recommend the steep section of Royce for any but the most experienced trail dogs. Most of the loop is dry. |

Plenty of mosquitos, DEET was useful in the morning. |

Fun loop in Evans Notch. Hazy views today.
The steep section of Royce is severely eroded with rough footing. Several holes to catch a foot in. |
