One large Silver Birch 2.6 miles from the trailhead on East Branch Tr. It’s upper half has toppled down over the trail. No real herd path around it yet. |

Surprisingly very few. A few mosquitoes and that was it. |

 | Lost and Found: |
Found an old black hoodie and about 15 yards away a tan/blue 3/4 zip pullover soon after starting my bushwhack off the completely grown in spur off LR 5039. Those were strange finds. |

 | Comments: |
East Branch was muddy in many spots and has several easily stepped over blowdowns. I found it to be an absolutely beautiful wilderness trail. Logging roads are becoming so tight that I spent about half of those sections in the woods next to them. |
