Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: No puppers seen today. :( This is a good safe route for doggos with good footing for them. There is water along the way until you get to the steep section of Gale River trail. Beyond that there is currently no water until you get to the hut.

Comments
Comments: What a great day it turned out to be! I was all set to complete this hike in the rain, but it held off for the morning. The area must have gotten some rain last night because the trail was wet in places and the rocks were all wet and slippery. It was also pretty humid so that may have contributed to the slippery conditions. I saw no one until I got on the steep portion of the Gale River trail and then began to meet up with the folks who had stayed at the hut and were on their way out. I bumped into Chris and Jeff again and congratulated Jeff on a solid couple days of hiking before he headed back to the Flat Lands. The Garfield Ridge trail and Frost trail had the same wet rocks which just required care. I saw no one on the Frost trail and had the summit to myself. This was my final hike for July and I can happily say that July for G2 is gridded out! Bring on August. I have stuff to do.
