Good signage but im glad i had the narrative from the amc guide because its wilderness area so only a few blazes remain. The trail down to the river was faint but you just head for the water and cross near the concrete pylon on the huge boulder. It was less clear on the return. We were tired. The trails footbed is nice and piney. Bonus! The steep slabs are way up near the top of McCrillis. And this steep section seems to go on forever. |
