Almost zero! yaaaayyy! 1 deer fly at summit of Hale. No black flies. An occasional mosquito. |

I did this clockwise from end of Zealand Road. Just a pleasant day with dew points in the 40s and temps in the 70s and a nice, steady NW breeze. No wildfire smoke today. Trails very quiet, espcially once I got past the hut. Saw 2 hikers on LAHT, a few people on the summit, and no one on HBT. |
