A nice approach to Sawyer Pond. Saw some signs of trillium, blue bead lily (with blue beads) columbine, and a few different mushrooms. Some neat glacial erratics along the trail.
A couple of tents at established tent sites, a new group moving into lean-to. Quiet woods, great weather.
Bushwhacked up to Little Sawyer Pond. Sundews in flower, super cool.
State biologists were out today doing lake water quality assessments at the pond. Reporting water clarity reading of over 36 feet, super clear water! |
