All were easy, Whitewall Brook was rock hops |

2nd bridge on Zealand has a broken plank, hard to see on way back. Zeacliff has 4 big blow downs, 3 blocking trail. 1st about 1/2 way up, just before the trail levels out. 3 birch, 2 spruce tough to get around. Others have herd path around. Last one just needs to be limbed. |

Perfect weather day, great trail conditions today. Minor mud even on the Twinway. 1st time doing this loop, Ethan Pond is flat and fast. Beautiful views into Zealand Notch. Very steep down to the Brook, topped off water here, then the climb. Not as bad as I expected, footing for the most part was good. Very quick to Zealand many here. Stopped at the Zeacliff Pond, very beautiful but deer flies were out. Lunch on Zeacliff, just an amazing place. No issues down, not many seen today though the lots were full. |
