Started on Great Gulf trail for a few miles, which starts gentle but gets steeper as you go. 6 Husbands is a steep tough trail, but worth the effort. Views most of the way up with fun scrambles, caves and 5 ladders. Jefferson is a great summit and the clouds were whipping by as I ate my lunch The way down was Gulf side over to Sphinx, which is another steep, tough trail, but also fun with great views. Prob saw 20 waterfalls today - Another excellent day in the Whites! |
